We grow Salmon Trout (Rainbow trout) in clear water of Black Sea with our own feed which enables best tasting salmon trout and very healthy salmon trout with a firm texture.

Salmon trout (Rainbow Trout) is from ‘Salmonidae’ family. Salmon trout (rainbow trout) is native to the cold water rivers and lakes of the Pacific coasts of North America and Asia.

Salmon trout (Rainbow Trout) prefer cool, clear rivers, cold water streams and lakes. Salmon trout (rainbow trout) can remain in freshwater entire lives or they can migrate to the sea and then return to freshwater to spawn. Their ideal temperature range is between 10°C and 16°C. Salmon trout (Rainbow Trout) normally feed on zooplankton when they are young and as they mature begin to include fish eggs, crustaceans and small fish in their diet. The salmon trout (rainbow trout) populations are possessed advantageous qualities, such as hardiness, fast growth, resistance to diseases and reliable reproduction under farm conditions.
The fresh cool waters of Black Sea are optimal for farming of Salmon trout (Rainbow Trout). Compared to other seas in Turkiye, the Black Sea is cooler throughout the year. The salinity in the Black Sea is also below that of other seas. This is due to the abundant rainfall in the Black Sea and the large amount of fresh water brought by the streams flowing into the sea.
We ensure optimal nutrition from hatchery to harvest with our own feed production plant and experienced team. Salmon trout (rainbow trout) are reared in dam lakes between November and May, when they weigh 750-1000g, they are taken into cages in Black Sea for their final growth. Generally salmon trout (rainbow trout) spend 6 – 8 months in the sea. They show exponential growth rates in the sea. Salmon trout are harvested when they reach market sizes between 2.5 – 5 kg.
